Salary:
The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $29.98-$37.48, reflecting the competitive compensation offered by Garnet Health System.
Job Description:
The Patient Experience Navigator will play a critical role in ensuring excellence in patient care and satisfaction at Garnet Health Medical Center-Middletown. This includes responding to patient complaints, resolving grievances according to CMS guidelines, and coordinating the Language Assistance Program (LAP) in accordance with DOH and DNV regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient complaints and grievances
- Work collaboratively with leaders and staff to ensure patient-centered care
- Coordinate the LAP, including annual assessments and staff training
- Notarize documents under the direction of Risk Management, pending NYS Notary Public Certification
Required Skills and Qualifications:
This role requires a strong background in acute healthcare, data analysis, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 2-4 years of experience in a related field, and proficiency in Excel, Word processing, and statistical methods.
