Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Manhard Consulting. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review precise calculations and field work orders for construction surveying.
  • Accurately interpret and review engineering plans for construction calculations.
  • Utilize surveying instruments and software to process and verify data.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to verify project details and support field surveyors.
  • Maintain organized records of calculations, reports, and project documentation.
  • Organize and maintain survey job files systematically.
  • Collaborate closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client and inter-office staff relationships.
  • Ensure that services provided align with the contract scope.
  • Monitor project budgets to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Keep the Field Operations Manager informed of workload, project progress, and any changes in project status.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proficient in using surveying instruments and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS, Total Station, Trimble Business Center).
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Must be fluent in the English language.
  • Night and weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines.

Education, Training, and Experience

  • Associate's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, preferred.
  • High School Diploma, required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or surveying.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions, possibly for extended assignments.
