Position Overview:
As a permanent Technology Inventory Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and management of materials and inventory control for technology assets.
Your responsibilities will include logistics, shipping and receiving, materials management, and inventory cycling initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute strategies for managing technology inventory and supply chain processes, ensuring optimal efficiency in data center operations.
- Supervise the procurement of technology assets, engaging with vendors to secure the best value for our investments.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of technology assets, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with various departments to anticipate technology requirements and ensure the availability of necessary resources for operational needs.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures for technology asset management, ensuring consistency and efficiency in practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of technology inventory and supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technology inventory management, supply chain management, or a similar role.
- In-depth experience with data center operations.
- Active DOE Q clearance or clearance held within the last three years.
- Proven negotiation skills with a successful track record in vendor negotiations.
- Strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting complex data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a focus on team performance and motivation.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including inventory management systems and data analysis tools.
- Previous data center experience and Security+ certification are advantageous.
