LakeHouse Senior Living, a leading provider of senior living communities, is seeking a highly skilled Business Office Assistant to join our team at Bennett Place. Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of monthly billing and collection processes, utilizing established policies, procedures, and tracking systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee cash controls, including the depositing and posting of cash receipts, and implement and monitor controls over petty cash to maintain a secure and organized financial environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly invoices and the collection and recording of payments, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Process invoices and Pcard transactions, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee checkbook entries and balances, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping.
  • Contribute to the compilation of information for weekly reports, providing valuable insights and data to inform business decisions.
  • Coordinate the processing of payroll and employee benefits, as well as other personnel-related records, including new hire paperwork and change forms.
  • Interface with residents on billing and collection issues, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of resident files, records, and reports, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Submit open positions on a weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; associate's degree preferred.
  • One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
