Position Overview:

The Senior Operations Leader will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing strategies, processes, and initiatives that align with the Aspire framework. This role is crucial for ensuring adherence to company standards and achieving customer service objectives. The incumbent will hold full accountability for fulfilling plant production targets and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the team to achieve and surpass performance indicators related to employee safety, food quality, customer satisfaction, production efficiency, labor costs, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies, maintaining readiness for inspections at all times.
  • Lead quality enhancement initiatives through effective collaboration with functional teams.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of all departments to align with production demand.
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and deliver weekly reports with comprehensive insights, including action plans for necessary improvements.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process while managing and monitoring labor and departmental expenditures throughout the fiscal year.
  • Champion and support continuous improvement initiatives within the bakery.
  • Facilitate employee performance management through recognition, rewards, and resources aimed at fostering development, motivation, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with indirect departments to ensure compliance, including Food Safety & Quality Assurance, Environmental Health & Safety, and Human Resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, including supervisory roles.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP inventory systems.
  • Experience in the baking industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dough handling and freezer operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze production schedules, safety protocols, and operational manuals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
