About the Role

The Arodo Mechanic/Operator is a senior-level operator responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining and operating the Arodo packaging line and palletizer equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently, with up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high-efficiency operations and monitor plant manufacturing controls, gauges, and instruments.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment, documenting and creating work orders as needed.
  • Manage computerized maintenance management systems and update assigned work orders.
  • Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs, ensuring correct weight and quality of produced bags.
  • Perform Durometer tests on bags for hardness and vacuum, completing paperwork and reports as required.
  • Assist in training new operators and perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements
  • High school degree or GED equivalent.
  • 3+ years of process manufacturing experience operating machinery.
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Must be available for overtime as needed and able to accommodate designated shift hours.
