About Hexagon Agility

Hexagon Agility is a leading provider of highly-engineered and cost-effective compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquid natural gas fuel systems for medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.

We enable the safe and effective use of natural gas as a transportation fuel, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and saving money for fleet operators and their customers.

Role Overview

This role involves overseeing the technical staff responsible for all processes and equipment used in the Weld and Wind areas. The successful candidate will be a working supervisor who interacts with maintenance teams to repair production equipment and works closely with Process Engineering on process and equipment design.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing solutions for problems related to new and existing products, processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Participating as a technical lead in the conception, planning, and execution of projects.
  • Presenting findings in written reports and verbally in a group setting.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring projects within stated performance guidelines.
  • Interacting with personnel on technical matters that require coordination of activities.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Agricultural, and five or more years of relevant work experience. You should also possess proficiency in material and process development, manufacturing and design of composites, design for cost and manufacturability, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), regulations, codes, and standards, hydraulics and pneumatics, and industrial sensors.

A strong understanding of problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a forward-looking and entrepreneurial spirit, is essential. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and in a group setting, develop and manage projects, research topics through investigation, experimentation, and supplier communication, and manage multiple priorities and tasks throughout the development cycle.
