Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer to join our production team at our site in Lincoln. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for aiding users with training, support, advice and assistance.

">

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Aid users with training, support, advice and assistance">
  • Align, test, verify and conduct final acceptance tests on products to predetermined specifications">
  • Analyse non-working electronic devices down to component level and report root cause and failure mode following Teledyne company procedures">
  • Maintain and uphold all Company Operating Procedures, Quality Instructions and associated policies">
  • Operate various types of electronic testing equipment such as network analysers, spectrum analysers, signal generators, oscilloscopes and analogue/digital power meters">
  • Report and document technical problems to Production Management and Engineering">
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in product design, processes, yield and performance">
  • Follow company and manufacturing procedures to meet customer delivery requirements">
  • Create production documentation and technical reports">
  • Contribute to regular Daily Stand-Up Meetings">
  • Provide production support and fault finding">
  • Plan, implement and coordinate own activities against objectives set by management">
  • Solve problems arising during the assembly and test stage">
  • Support 5S and other lean manufacturing initiatives individually and as part of the team">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">
  • ">
  • HNC in Electronic Engineering or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years' experience in an electronic manufacturing and test environment">
  • Experience of working at microwave frequencies (1 - 40GHz)">
  • Experience of AutoCAD preferred">
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written">
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills">
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills">
