Role Overview:
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering coordinated care to patients of all ages. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and executing tailored physical therapy treatment plans.
  • Assessing and documenting patient progress, making adjustments to treatments as necessary.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educating patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercises, and preventive care.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records in line with company and regulatory standards.
  • Utilizing durable medical equipment and providing necessary training to patients.
  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest practices in therapy.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Current State License or a multi-state license as per the Physical Therapist Licensure Compact (PTLC) requirements.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care, rehabilitation, or home health setting is preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in therapy techniques, strong interpersonal skills, current CPR certification, and knowledge of durable medical equipment are essential.
Transportation:
Reliable transportation, a valid Driver's License, and current auto liability insurance are required.

Working Conditions:
Expect to work in various healthcare settings or patient homes, which may involve exposure to different environmental conditions.

Physical and Mental Effort:
The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking, along with addressing the psychosocial needs of patients and families effectively.
