Pay: $54.28 / hour. Compensation is based on the applicant's relevant experience

Overview:
Responsible for assessing and addressing therapy needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts and records initial and ongoing evaluations of patient conditions.
  • Develops a care plan tailored to identified issues, involving the patient and family in the process according to their abilities and preferences.
  • Informs the patient and family/caregiver about patient limitations. Assists with the transition of patients from therapy services and treatment settings. Provides guidance on the appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Oversees and delegates tasks to physical therapy assistants in accordance with established licensing laws, state regulations, and practice standards.
  • Requires critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist - State
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required. Preferred: Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Minimum Experience: None required.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid for at least sixty days from hire.
