We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our residency training program at Jefferson Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and providing guidance and support to residents and faculty.
Key Responsibilities- Program Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the residency training program, ensuring alignment with departmental and hospital goals.
- Accreditation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements, including the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Resident Education and Support: Provide guidance and support to residents, including clinical instruction, supervision, and mentorship.
- Faculty Development: Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement educational programs, including curriculum development and evaluation.
- Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and resident education.
- Research and Scholarship: Foster a culture of research and scholarship among residents and faculty, including the development and implementation of research projects.
- Departmental and Hospital Committees: Participate in departmental and hospital committees, including the Medical Staff By-laws and Quality Improvement Plan.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among residents, faculty, and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care and program operations.
- Education: Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in residency education and program leadership.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
