Position Overview:

The Senior Operational Effectiveness Analyst plays a critical role in enhancing the operational capabilities of our organization. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to contribute from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist governmental entities in formulating a comprehensive analytical framework to evaluate operational risks associated with border security.
  • Provide support to the relevant departments by delivering integrated software solutions aimed at identifying and analyzing options to mitigate operational risks.
  • Engage in various analytical assessments, including Operational Effectiveness Analysis, Alternatives Analysis, Situational Awareness Analysis, and Cost Effectiveness Analysis, to provide informed recommendations for decision-making related to deployment strategies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, focusing on requirements gathering and alternatives analysis for solution development.
  • A Master’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in software development using programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or C#.
  • An advanced degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or a related technical discipline is highly desirable.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain DHS suitability is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for up to 50% of the time.
  • Frequent operation of computers and other office equipment is necessary.
  • Regular communication with colleagues and stakeholders, which may include delivering presentations and exchanging critical information.
