Job Description

Senior Operations Analyst

As a Senior Operations Analyst at Cherokee Nation Businesses, you will play a critical role in evaluating operations and processes to facilitate complex decision-making. You will collect and analyze data to identify problem areas and develop solutions, using established modeling and evaluation methodologies. Your expertise in tools like Excel, SQL, or Python will enable you to clean, manipulate, and transform data to draw meaningful conclusions. You will also create clear and informative visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to communicate insights effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, or Python for cleaning, manipulating, and transforming data.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and methods to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Ability to create clear and informative visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to communicate insights effectively.
  • The ability to break down complex problems into smaller, manageable components and identify root causes.
  • The capacity to evaluate information, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Ability to document and analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 4-7 years of related experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
