About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and people-focused individual to join our team as a Process Support Manager. This role will play a critical part in supporting our Process Engineering teams in our Silicon Carbide (SiC) Global Operations manufacturing team located at our Corporate Headquarters in Durham, NC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Drive project initiatives forward to support process safety, quality, throughput, and low cost.
  • Lead technician hiring, promotion, and training initiatives/programs within the team.
  • Ensure procedures for process engineering processes are up-to-date and audit-ready.
  • Monitor and coordinate technician response when process shifts out of control.
  • Be the team's organization and cleanliness champion (5S) and interface between the organizational excellence team.
  • Verify technician gaps are covered and headcount is secure for enabling production.
  • Document best known methods across areas of ownership.
  • Create and maintain technician documents and procedures as necessary.
  • Facilitate and oversee the technician resources for qualifications and requalification of tool sets.
  • Maintain schedule to meet overall qualifications and project goals.
  • Sustaining support, troubleshooting, equipment acceptance, and resolving technical issues that may arise in day-to-day manufacturing.
Requirements
  • BA or BS required, preferred STEM focus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support critical tool issues in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage large teams and coordinate schedules to ensure gaps are covered.
  • Excellent person-to-person communication skills to help drive technician growth, effectiveness, and training.
  • Ability to read and understand charts, graphs, and critical production indicators (or ability to learn to do so).
