Direct Support Professional - Respite Job Description:

At United Counseling Services, we are committed to providing high-quality care and support to children and youth in need. As a Child Development Worker, you will play a critical role in helping individuals achieve their full potential.

About the Role:
The Direct Support Professional - Respite will be responsible for providing direct support and guidance to children and youth in a respectful and professional manner. This will include facilitating individual's inclusion into the community through development and participation of meaningful community-based activities. You will also provide transportation for children and/or adolescents to and from community-based activities, as well as crisis intervention as directed by the program coordinator or manager.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualized plans to promote independence and inclusion into the community
* Provide transportation for children and/or adolescents to and from community-based activities
* Respond to crisis situations as directed by the program coordinator or manager
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and services provided

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Experience working with children and youth preferred
* Valid Driver's License required

Estimated Salary: $17.75 per hour (based on 40 hours/week)
