Market Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Manager - Food Service to join our team at Town & Country Markets. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service departments, including deli, bakery, and made-to-order food.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage overall market operations, including food service, in the absence of the Market Director
- Provide exceptional customer service and role model our hospitality standards
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, guests, and vendors
- Oversee food service operations, including quality and standards, and meet expectations of our guests
- Manage front and back of house operations and guest experience
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees to improve service and meet guest needs
- Participate in forecasting and budgeting processes
- Work closely with Food Services Manager, Kitchen Manager, and Bakery Manager to achieve operational proficiencies
- Manage purchasing and inventory controls
- Act as Lead Interviewer for all Food Service positions
- 6 years of supervisory experience in restaurant/food service/culinary industry
- Proven track record in achieving company goals in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Exceptional business etiquette and guest relations skills
- Must be accurate and detail-oriented
- Clear understanding of restaurant operations
- Must be knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food
- Excellent communicator/listener, motivator and risk taker
- Must be a team player, a leader and a positive role model
- Ability to problem solve and manage conflicts
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of staff, customers and vendors
- Exemplifies health department standards
- Must exhibit superior organizational skills
- Must possess intermediate computer skills including MS Office
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Possess full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting and reaching) and have excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
