Position Overview

Kingdom One is collaborating with a vibrant evangelical church in the Los Angeles region seeking to enhance their team by bringing on board a Multimedia Production Specialist.

Role Objectives:

The Multimedia Production Specialist is responsible for managing and operating the church's audio, visual, and lighting systems, ensuring seamless execution of services and events, with or without direct oversight from the AV Supervisor.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in church or theater production environments.
  • A background in music or experience supporting both contemporary and traditional Christian worship styles is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with traditional hymns, praise music, and choral arrangements, including the ability to manage slide presentations for each song.
  • Proficient in operating microphones, video equipment, cabling, mixing consoles, dynamics and effects, signal processing, recording devices, and relevant software.
  • Competent in using computers, particularly with the Windows operating system, PowerPoint, and ProPresenter or similar presentation software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and test sound equipment, cabling, and monitors to ensure functionality.
  • Collaborate with worship coordinators, choir directors, and event planners to accommodate specific technical needs.
  • Manage the mixing console during worship services, weddings, memorials, and other special events as required.
  • Distribute wireless microphones and necessary equipment to speakers and leaders before services or events.
  • Activate and configure all essential video and lighting equipment as needed.
  • Operate computer systems and video technology alongside the lighting board during services and events.
  • Safely power down and store all audio, visual, and lighting equipment post-event.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, professionalism, and collaboration within the technical team.

Compensation: $18-$20/hour
