Job Title: Engineering Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician II to join our team at Triad Engineering, Inc. in Winchester, VA.

About the Role:

This is a mid-level position that requires a strong background in geotechnical and civil engineering, with a focus on construction testing and monitoring. The successful candidate will possess certifications in concrete, soils, and foundation testing, as well as experience with utility line work.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine quality control test procedures, including concrete and nuclear moisture/density testing.
  • Complete and submit daily reports and Job Hazard Analysis forms.
  • Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures.
  • Familiar with applicable plans and specifications.
  • Frequent exposure to clients.
  • May occasionally make limited recommendations in the field after consultation with PM and/or Engineer.
  • May have limited responsibility for assisting, directing, and/or training entry-level technicians.
  • Maintain a driving record free of specific violations.
  • May perform field work within other company disciplines.
  • May schedule client meetings and/or additional services.
  • May occasionally attend job site-related meetings.
  • May occasionally perform routine testing in the lab.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-4 years of formal industry experience required.
  • Construction-related training or technical training desirable.
  • Certifications in concrete, soils, and foundation testing required.
  • WVDOT and WVTRET required.
