Territory Sales Representative

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Ecolab. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing a territory of customers in the food retail sector and providing them with a comprehensive cleaning and food safety program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide them with tailored solutions.
- Grow sales and retain existing customers by providing exceptional service and identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct food safety audits and provide training to customers on food safety and sanitation best practices.
- Facilitate the sale of Ecolab products and services by making recommendations and providing demonstrations.
- Install and maintain equipment and collateral to ensure proper function and appearance.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 4 years of experience in the food industry, with a focus on sales and customer service.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to provide emergency call assistance, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as business or food science.
- Experience with mechanical equipment and ability to troubleshoot and repair.
- Food safety knowledge or certification, such as CP-FS.
- Military experience or previous business-to-business sales experience.
