Principal Product Marketing Manager, Amazon Ads

As a Principal Product Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Amazon's advertising business. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive awareness and adoption of our advertising solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and research, to understand customer needs and develop marketing plans that meet those needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing year-long marketing strategies to drive awareness and adoption of our advertising solutions
- Creating compelling sales and marketing collateral to drive adoption and understanding of our advertising products
- Developing recommendations for new growth initiatives
- Identifying internal research needs to support product positioning and marketing plans
- Guiding the prioritization, development, and implementation of case studies and research to communicate the benefits of our advertising portfolio
Basic qualifications include:
- 11+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
- Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
