Job Title: Paramedic - Emergency Medical Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic to join our team of emergency medical services professionals. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations
  • Operate emergency medical equipment, including defibrillators and ventilators
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Paramedic
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in emergency medical services
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The work environment for this position will be fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to emergency situations. The Paramedic will be required to work in a variety of settings, including emergency vehicles, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.

Physical Demands:

The Paramedic will be required to lift and move patients as needed, and may be exposed to hazardous materials and situations. The position requires strong physical stamina and the ability to work in a variety of environments.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to utilize computing systems required for essential job functions
Additional Job Description:

This position is a non-exempt, full-time position with a scheduled weekly hours of 24. The shift for this position will be determined by the needs of the organization.
