About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Hematologist to join our team at the University of Virginia. As a key member of our Division of Hematology/Oncology, you will play a vital role in advancing our clinical research efforts and contributing to the development of new treatments for patients with hematological disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct translational research, enrolling patients into clinical trials and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify new opportunities for therapeutic innovation.
  • Attend inpatient and outpatient services, participating in patient care and education as part of our comprehensive Cancer Center program.
  • Collaborate with fellows, residents, and medical students in teaching and mentoring roles, fostering the next generation of leaders in hematology and oncology.
Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess a MD or equivalent degree and hold board certification in Internal Medicine by the start date. Additionally, eligibility or certification in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology is required.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $250,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This figure may vary based on location, expertise, and other factors.
