The University of Virginia is seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join their team in the Clinical Trials Unit at UVA School of Medicine.

This position requires effective patient care in compliance with research protocols, federal and institutional policies, and Good Clinical Practices. The successful candidate will work closely with study subjects, Principal Investigators, and the research team to provide high-quality care and implement treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent and effective care to complex research patients
  • Manage care and implement treatment plans in collaboration with research patients, families, and the research team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with research patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and quality achievement initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research practices and technologies

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associates or bachelors degree)
  • 1 year of relevant experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$115,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
