About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Research Manager to lead our team in Charlottesville. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic department and contribute to groundbreaking research.

This position requires a minimum of six years of progressively responsible clinical research experience, including clinical trials budgeting, portfolio oversight, and staff management. A Bachelor's degree is required, while a Master's or advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Oversee the management of clinical research staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, workload assignments, compensation management, and performance evaluation.
  • Clinical Trials Management: Direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical trials protocols, including budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.
  • Grant Writing: Assist with the preparation and submission of grant proposals, as well as writing clinical trial protocols.
  • Audit and Monitoring: Oversee the preparation and implementation of audits and internal/external monitoring.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least six years of clinical research experience.
  • Experience with clinical trials budgeting, portfolio oversight, and staff management.
  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification.
What We Offer
