Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of renewable energy developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team growth and project success.
  • Drive the Regional development team and its strategy for renewable energy projects, from initial feasibility assessments through to project execution and commercial operation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, finance, legal, and other teams to streamline project development processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for renewable energy projects, conducting market research, feasibility studies, and financial analyses.
  • Manage relationships with key project stakeholders, including landowners, government agencies, local communities, etc.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and financial targets, implementing strategies to optimize project outcomes and mitigate risks.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the renewable energy sector.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in renewable energy project development, with a focus on solar, wind, and BESS.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and motivating teams.
  • Expertise in project evaluation and financial analysis.
  • Experience managing partnerships and negotiating contracts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
