Position Title: SIC Rigging Foreman

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Rigging Foreman to oversee operations from our office, managing various projects across multiple states. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and manage hoisting equipment for the placement of structural steel components.
  • Secure steel elements to hoisting cables using appropriate rigging techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with operators to ensure safe lifting and positioning of steel members.
  • Utilize tag lines to guide steel members into place.
  • Adjust steel components into position using mechanical aids and hand tools.
  • Ensure alignment of steel members by utilizing tools such as plumb bobs and levels.
  • Maintain safety protocols and respond to hazardous conditions.
  • Regular attendance and adherence to safety standards are mandatory.
  • Travel to various job sites as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Completion of all safety and job-specific training as mandated by the company.
  • Consistent adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

  • Ability to utilize personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Work in diverse environments including offices, warehouses, and outdoor sites with exposure to various elements.
  • Capability to access all areas of job sites, including elevated and confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks as required.
  • Proficiency in operating necessary equipment and tools.
  • Ability to maintain physical positions for extended periods, including bending and working in confined spaces.
