We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Patient Care Supervisor to join our team at Sentara Healthcare. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing administrative management of the hospital, representing the administrator on call, and serving as a resource to nursing staff, physicians, and the public.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate appropriate and efficient patient placement.
- Make administrative decisions in regards to potential or actual problematic situations involving the hospital.
- Coordinate patient care resources and provide support to nursing staff and physicians.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in nursing.
- At least 1 year of nursing leadership experience.
- Registered Nurse License (Virginia or multistate compact license).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
