Patient Care Technician

Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc. is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Treatment Preparation
- Prepare dialysis machines and equipment for treatment.
- Set up and operate dialysis machines according to established protocols.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient treatment.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
