The Human Resources Lead is tasked with overseeing and enhancing critical HR operations and functions

to guarantee efficient workflows within Purelight Power's structure. This position necessitates collaboration with

various teams, offering direction to supervisors, and assisting personnel throughout

their employment journey. The ideal applicant will possess a background in HR management,

employee engagement, and operational enhancements.

Core Responsibilities:

HR Operations Enhancement

  • Support the development and refinement of HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and special initiatives.

Employee Journey Management

  • Oversee the onboarding experience for new hires, coordinating with departments for non-sales positions.
  • Manage employee offboarding, ensuring adherence to Purelight Power's policies and legal standards.
  • Administer Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Leave of Absence (LOA) procedures, including updating employee records in the HRIS and distributing eligibility documentation.

Employee Engagement & Compliance

  • Assist with employee relations matters, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), corrective actions, and investigations - with support from the HR Director.
  • Provide counsel to supervisors regarding HR policies and practices.
  • Authorize bereavement, jury duty, and other leave requests.

Payroll Administration

  • Facilitate adjustments in pay (increases/decreases), position transitions, and location changes.

System Management & Operational Improvement

  • Ensure timely and accurate updates in Paylocity for employee information, direct deposit details, and W-4 forms.
  • Lead initiatives to implement and promote continuous enhancements in HR processes within HRIS and other HR-related systems.

Reporting & Record Keeping

  • Prepare and submit the EEO-1 report, ensuring compliance with federal reporting obligations.
  • Gather and maintain documentation for legal matters, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Communication & Training

  • Communicate changes in HR processes to relevant stakeholders, ensuring clarity and comprehension.
  • Deliver training and support to supervisors and employees on new HR processes and system updates.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources, with HRCI/SHRM certification preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience in HR management, payroll administration, and employee relations preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with HR systems, particularly Paylocity.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of providing clear guidance and support to supervisors and employees.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
