Key Responsibilities:

HR Process Enhancement

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and various projects.

Employee Lifecycle Oversight

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, coordinating with departments for non-sales positions.
  • Manage employee offboarding, ensuring adherence to Purelight Power's policies and legal standards.
  • Administer Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Leave of Absence (LOA) procedures, including updating employee status in the HRIS and distributing eligibility documentation.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Support employee relations initiatives, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), corrective actions, and investigations, with guidance from the HR Director.
  • Advise managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Authorize bereavement, jury duty, and other leave requests.

Payroll Administration

  • Facilitate changes in pay (increases/decreases), position modifications, and location adjustments.

System Management & Process Optimization

  • Ensure accurate and timely updates in Paylocity for employee information, direct deposit details, and W-4 forms.
  • Lead initiatives to implement and promote continuous enhancements in HR processes within HRIS and other HR-related software.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and submit the EEO-1 report, ensuring compliance with federal reporting obligations.
  • Gather and maintain documentation for legal matters, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Communication & Training

  • Communicate changes in HR processes to relevant stakeholders, ensuring clarity and comprehension.
  • Provide training and assistance to managers and employees regarding new HR processes and system updates.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources, with HRCI/SHRM certification preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience in HR management, payroll administration, and employee relations preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with HR systems, particularly Paylocity.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of providing clear guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
