Division Controller Job Description

Job Title: Division Controller

Location: Fully Onsite in Long Beach, CA

Duration: Permanent Work

Salary Range: $160-180k

Requirements:

  • Similar responsibilities and requirements as corporate controller role but solely in charge of industrial maintenance division.
  • Experience with managing a division or business unit around $50-100 million in revenue.
  • Must have relevant experience around heavy maintenance or construction industry.
  • Must have experience around union reporting in commercial/federal space.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage divisional finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead a team of financial professionals to achieve financial goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in controllership in construction industry.
  • 4-5 years of experience in leadership.
  • Must have skills in project accounting and trade union accounting.
  • Must have experience with managing a division or business unit around $50-100 million in revenue.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with union reporting in commercial/federal space.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities.
