The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is a leading nonprofit organization that aims to combat poverty, disease, and inequity around the world. As a Global Operations Coordinator for the Women's Economic Empowerment team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team's mission by providing administrative and organizational support to two Deputy Directors.

About the Role

This is a temporary position with AgileOne, the employment agency responsible for direct hiring and seeking candidates for the Foundation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in an administrative role for a complex and fast-paced organization. You will be responsible for managing complex calendars, including meetings with participants in multiple time zones, both internal and external to the foundation.

  • Manage competing priorities through transparency, collaboration, and rigor.
  • Implement a clear and efficient process for managing Principal travel – including the timely completion of visa applications, partner meeting arrangement, and logistics.
  • Act as a planning liaison with internal and external partners, grantees, government officials, and consultants – with an expectation of contributing to positive partner relationships.

You will also be responsible for coordinating daily workflow and project progress, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities; ensuring tasks and deliverables are being met and following up on action items. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, as you will need to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
