Job Title: Nurse - Living Room Crisis Center

Spurwink is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team at the Living Room Crisis Center in Portland, ME. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to individuals ages 14+ in a community setting.

About the Role:

The Living Room Crisis Center is a 24/7, 365-day-a-year facility that offers a safe and supportive space for individuals and families to seek crisis support. As a Nurse, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide assessments, coordinate with community resources, and provide comprehensive care to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to individuals ages 14+ in a community setting
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide assessments and coordinate with community resources
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals and families in need
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must be a registered nurse with a psychiatric nurse license and certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a psychiatric and mental health nurse. You must also have a strong understanding of crisis intervention and support principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
