We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) in Clackamas County. As a key member of our team, you will provide face-to-face crisis intervention services to individuals and families across the lifespan experiencing mental health emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide field-based risk assessment, crisis intervention, case management, consultation, and referral services to individuals in need.
- Work collaboratively with law enforcement, community partners, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Assess and evaluate clients to determine treatment needs and level of risk to self and others.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, and provide psychotherapeutic services to clients and their families.
- Work as a key member of a crisis team, making referrals to other community clinics, agencies, or care facilities as needed.
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification as established by the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO).
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on crisis intervention and case management.
- Experience working with adults and children with mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a professional mental health team, and to diagnose and treat clients.
- Knowledge of principles and techniques of group and individual therapy, as well as case management methods and techniques.
- Current licensure in a behavioral health-related field (LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
- Experience working collaboratively with law enforcement, community partners, and other mental health professionals.
- Fluency in Spanish/English, both oral and written.
