Machine Learning Engineer Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team as a Lead Consultant. This role will involve delivering strategic client engagements related to Gen AI, ML Pipelines, NLP, data integrations, and data modeling.
The ideal candidate will have strong consulting experience, technical proficiency in AI, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively. They will also have a passion for bringing meaning to data and working in a collaborative, dynamic, and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize consulting and technical skills to work independently in a client-facing project environment.
- Be responsible for execution and lead individual work streams on client engagements as assigned.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects successfully.
- Work effectively and communicate directly with internal and client teams.
- Develop full ownership of execution on client engagements and contribute to project planning and solution stages.
- Develop AI strategies tailored to client needs, including generative AI models for applications such as NLP, text generation, and image synthesis.
- Deploy production-level machine learning pipelines to impact client businesses.
- Contribute to real-time data processing solutions and managed streaming data.
- Implement security and compliance measures for data pipelines.
- Design and implement version control and branching strategies and integrate them into CI/CD for promoting and testing in higher environments.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years' experience in Machine Learning and big data, with at least 2 years working directly with clients and/or external stakeholders.
- Proven experience with generative AI models and a track record of deploying these models in client-facing environments.
- Ability to work with popular NLP frameworks such as Spark NLP or Hugging Face Transformers in pytorch, tensor flow, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts and hands-on experience deploying pipelines using Databricks.
- Data modeling and database design skills and knowledge of version control.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding and utilization of Lovelytics tools and client tools.
