About the Role:
A dynamic and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our oncology department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Job Summary:
Evaluate and diagnose patients' illnesses and diseases within an outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting. Prescribe medication, therapy, and treatments accordingly. Provide clinical direction to nursing staff and ensure patient care is delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate medical histories and conduct physical examinations to assess differential diagnoses.
  • Pursue optimal patient outcomes through timely diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to nursing staff on clinical matters.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance patient safety and quality of care.

Requirements:
  • Physician Assistant license issued by the state in which the caregiver practices.
  • Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the caregiver practices.
  • Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or Nurse Practitioner (AANP) certification issued by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Compensation Package:
The salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
