About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Customer Sales Representative to join our team at Genuine Parts Company. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and increasing sales revenue by promoting our entire line of products and services to wholesale customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow customer relationships
  • Promote and sell our products and services to existing and new customers
  • Work closely with local store managers to develop plans to increase sales and identify new business opportunities
  • Identify customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
  • Collaborate with manufacturer's representatives to improve program offerings and enhance customer knowledge of our products
  • Engage customers through various sales channels and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Perform educational seminars, clinics, and presentations to promote our products and services
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-focused role, preferably in a retail or outside sales environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing customer relationships
  • Strong understanding of basic selling skills, including preparing for sales calls, managing customer meetings, and closing sales
  • Ability to present information in group meetings and provide excellent customer service
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or marketing
  • Background in the automotive industry or a related field
