Your Future Role and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot complex issues encountered by customers and service technicians, identifying solutions to optimize equipment performance.
  • Program and configure various modules for customers' equipment, ensuring seamless integration and maximum utilization.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of our products and services, empowering customers to maximize their equipment's potential.
  • Make technical recommendations to customers to assist in the preventive maintenance of their equipment, reducing downtime and increasing productivity.
  • Monitor and manage requests from customers and service technicians, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and databases, facilitating efficient management of technical information.
  • Monitor and analyze performance indicators to optimize our processes and improve our service delivery.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams, such as Parts and Sales, to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our clients.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in automated systems, mechatronics, electromechanics, electrical engineering, industrial automation, controls engineering, or instrumentation engineering.
  • Experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Ability to work with and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and schematics.
  • Knowledge of CRM or ticketing systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in an accessible manner.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety principles and practices.
  • Proven work experience as a field service technician, equipment start-up tech, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley products and FANUC robots.
  • Desire for continuous growth and professional development.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

About the Role

  • This is an onsite position at our Montgomery, Alabama hub.
  • Technical support operates 24/7, including scheduled rotations outside of regular business hours.
