Position Title: Global Taxation Manager - Private Wealth Management

Job Summary: The Global Taxation Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering compliance and advisory services to affluent individuals, multi-generational families, family offices, and their associated business entities. This position demands a robust understanding of international tax compliance and strategic planning, focusing on managing intricate tax matters and fostering client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, trusts, estates, gifts, and state taxes.
  • Evaluate international assets for compliance and assist clients in strategizing around foreign investments to optimize global tax obligations.
  • Formulate and execute proactive tax strategies, including inbound tax planning, expatriation considerations, and asset structuring.
  • Manage various engagements, ensuring timely completion of tax filings and adherence to internal deadlines.
  • Guide, train, and mentor junior team members.
  • Engage in business development initiatives and contribute to thought leadership efforts.
  • Participate in recruitment and professional growth activities.

Qualifications:

I. Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field (mandatory).
  • Master's Degree in Taxation or a similar discipline (preferred).

II. Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in public accounting (essential).
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience (required).
  • Strong expertise in international tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth clients (mandatory).

III. Certifications:

  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (required).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication skills and a polished professional presence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in tax research and professional writing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, along with experience in tax software and research tools.
