Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dining Service Attendant to join our team at The Wellington at Springfield. As a key member of our dining services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service and enjoy their dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs in food preparation tasks, as assigned, to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe dining environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Deliver meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that their needs and preferences are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident concerns and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge in food service and customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move food and equipment, as needed.
