Sigma Defense is seeking a seasoned professional in Navy and Defense training initiatives to become part of our team as a Lead for Surface Fleet Deployment Training Operations.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Navy and Defense training initiatives, policy formulation, and operational systems, with a minimum of 8 years in the field. Familiarity with Echelon III staff operations is advantageous. An understanding of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan and Fleet Response Training Plan will be beneficial.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in Navy training initiatives
  • Proven experience in overseeing large-scale, intricate projects
  • Capability to lead collaborative teams and working groups
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Navy fleet training policies

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Candidate must qualify for a DoD Secret security clearance

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the strategizing, implementation, and evaluation of training exercises
  • Provide expert guidance on planning matters
  • Support USFF N7 in various discussions and meetings
  • Coordinate all phases of exercise lifecycle events

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually
