At @Orchard, we are seeking an experienced Navy-certified trainer to support the Naval Sea Systems Command, Shipyards, and Industrial Base agencies. The successful candidate will provide in-class training against established curriculum in various programs, including Corrosion Prevention, Fire Control, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Systems (HM&E), and other related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs aligned with established curriculum.
- Assure the technical and operational accuracy of training products.
- Support Instructional Systems Analysts in identifying/validating training requirements.
- Collaborate with Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychologists in developing human performance metrics.
- Develop target audience learning profiles.
- Provide technical expertise in developing straw man task lists.
- Communicate with professionals in military and industrial training.
- Navy training certification in an appropriate field of study.
- Active secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or experience equivalency.
- At least 3 years of experience delivering in-classroom training within the Navy.
- Ability to travel as necessary to deliver classes at shipyard locations.
