Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Team Lead to join our team at Navy Exchange. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of sales associates, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide premier customer service, ensuring a positive and inclusive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Drive sales growth by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to increase sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and processing merchandise.
  • Process sales transactions, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience, with a minimum of 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to use a calculator and calculate percentages and ratios.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
