Key Responsibilities- Operate Lift Trucks Safely: Ensure that all lift trucks are properly maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
- Move Furniture and Products: Safely move furniture and other products throughout the warehouse using lift trucks.
- Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain lift trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Meet Productivity Standards: Meet or exceed productivity standards for moving furniture and products.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Lift Truck Certification: Ability to become lift truck certified.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 75lbs) and push/pull heavy loads (up to 300lbs) with a dolly or hand truck.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
This job operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
