Job Title: Product Photographer

At Furnitureland South, we are seeking a skilled Product Photographer to join our team. As a Product Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality visual content for our products and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Photograph products and lifestyles for Furnitureland South and additional commerce channels.
  2. Champion photography efforts for various digital channels, including social media, website, marketplace, and owned commerce.
  3. Manage and lead post-production efforts, including asset management, file naming, and image drops into our Product Information Management (PIM) system.
  4. Lead on-location production lighting and merchandising efforts.
  5. Organize and plan photography schedules, working cross-functionally with floor design crew to manage product movement.
  6. Manage freelance resources as needed, adhering to budget and time constraints.
  7. Maintain and organize assigned equipment responsibilities.
  8. Work collaboratively with the team to achieve high-volume, deadline-driven ecommerce studio goals.
  9. Oversee photography projects and initiatives.
  10. Communicate clearly and contribute to the team's success.
  11. Maintain safety and organizational compliance throughout the studio.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Product Photographer with a strong portfolio and a passion for visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of product photography experience.
  • An online photography portfolio that demonstrates relevant experience.
  • Prior experience working with/managing offshore post-production efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:

We also welcome candidates with:

  • An associates degree with one year of product photography experience.
  • Experience in AI-powered photo enhancement.
Work Environment:

This is an onsite position that requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The employee will be required to talk or hear regularly and have specific vision abilities, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
