Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and control systems.
- Monitor and control water quality parameters, including pH, temperature, and turbidity.
- Collect and analyze wastewater samples to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and replacing worn-out parts.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth plant operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in environmental science or a related field preferred.
- Valid North Carolina driver's license required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
