Candidates must be enrolled as students at the University of Kentucky.

Experience Required:

Applicants should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, possess strong communication skills, and exhibit excellent customer service and hospitality abilities. Familiarity with campus navigation is essential, along with punctuality, reliability, and professionalism. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or loading dock operations is advantageous.

Licenses/Certifications:

A valid driver's license is required.

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Work Hours:

Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate academic commitments. Shifts may vary, with availability from early morning to evening, seven days a week. Candidates should be prepared to work some evenings, weekends, and special events.

Job Overview:

The Student Center is seeking responsible, outgoing, and enthusiastic individuals to assist with shipping and receiving operations. Responsibilities include managing incoming phone inquiries, providing directions, supporting departmental logistics, training new team members, and performing general clerical tasks as needed. All qualified students, including those eligible for Federal Work Study, are encouraged to apply.
