The Regulatory Exam Management Lead will play a pivotal role in the broker-dealer function of a leading bank, driving the expansion and enhancement of their compliance program.

About the Role

As part of our team at Michael Page, you will be responsible for managing regulatory examinations for wholesale businesses, covering key areas such as operations, finance, regulatory reporting, and sales and trading. Your expertise will be essential in preparing business personnel for regulator meetings, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage regulatory examinations, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with senior managers, line managers, and other stakeholders to provide advice on regulatory matters, leveraging your strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Provide regular updates to management on ongoing matters, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of potential issues, and maintaining open communication channels with regulators and business units.
  • Analyze and summarize documentation and information in response to regulatory requests, showcasing your ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Maintain extensive communication (both oral and written) to build effective relationships with regulators, and keep relevant business units informed about regulatory issues, findings, and remediation efforts.
  • Prepare detailed written responses to regulatory requests and examination reports, collaborating with business units to gather necessary information and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify mitigating facts and circumstances to address issues raised during examinations or other engagements, demonstrating your ability to think critically and develop effective solutions.
  • Provide periodic updates on examination status and contribute to internal reporting and tracking related to regulatory findings, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.

What We Offer
