Director of Operations

At Always Compassionate Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to lead our Newburgh office. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring the delivery of high-quality home care services to our clients, and managing our resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to our Newburgh staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, updating our office's policies and procedures, and implementing strategies to train staff as needed.
- Monitor service delivery, control costs, optimize revenue, and ensure our office meets established performance goals.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of staff members, working collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and administrative personnel.
- Ensure quality assurance, maintaining and improving the quality of care provided to our clients, through audits, surveys, and results analysis.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote our services and expand our client base, building relationships with referral sources, networking, and developing partnerships in the community.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans, ensuring our office can respond effectively to emergencies or disasters.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management-level position overseeing cross-functional teams.
- Extensive experience in the healthcare field, with a strong background in home and/or community-based services.
- Experience recruiting, hiring, and training new employees, as well as handling employee relations matters.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to think strategically and communicate effectively.
