Summary:

The Mount Saint Mary College Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for students on campus and in the surrounding area.

The driver will operate a College-Owned 15-passenger van and travel along a designated route, transporting students to various locations in the Newburgh/Beacon area.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive/operate a College-Owned vehicle, providing safe and efficient transportation for MSMC students.
  • Follow a specific route, transporting students to and from Mount Saint Mary College to services located in the Newburgh/Beacon area.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and conduct a visual safety inspection prior to operations.
  • Report any issues or accidents to the immediate supervisor and maintain records of travel and operations.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns regarding the operation of the vehicle or students' safety to the Director of Student Engagement.
Requirements:
  • Must have a clean and valid driver's license.
  • Minimum of two (2) years driving experience required.
  • High School/Equiv. Diploma.
  • Must be willing to work the designated shift assigned, including evenings & weekends.
  • Must be dependable, flexible, and punctual.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be willing to work in a non-office environment.
  • Previous experience driving passenger vans preferred.
